My first Utah trip
This trip to Utah was full of both anticipation and surprises. For the first time in my life, I saw snow, touched it, rolled in it, and ate it. I was also able to see many many friends of mine that I hadn't seen for years--the couple missionaries that used to serve their mission in Miri, and one of my best buds, Lia Banks. Also, for the first time, i got to see so many temples in one state--Bountiful temple, Provo temple, St. George temple, and Salt Lake temple. My testimony of the Church and of the gospel has greatly been strengthened and renewed. All the spiritual experiences that I was privileged enough to experience will always be engraved in my heart. Apart from all those wonderful experiences, there were also many wonderful first-times for me, such as, jumping on the trampoline, being shock by the electrostatic 50 times a day(which makes me, in my friend, Christine's word, DARN mad), seeing the desert, seeing the red sand, going to Wendy's drive-thru every day for about 2 weeks, horse-riding, and playing hide and seek in the dark in a cave. On top of all that, meeting Leighton's family and friends was the most wonderful experience. They were so friendly and loving and awesome. Just a side note, Utah is so friggin' dry! Every morning when I blew my nose, blood came out! Click on the photo album to see the pictures.
