Story #227: La Journal

I am such a slacker when it comes to keeping a journal. I used to be so much better at it when I was in high school. We were given a thick journal for our wedding but I have since only written like 2 pages in it. So, I probably shouldn't even buy or talk about these journals I am about to share with you. Do you think getting one of these would motivate me to write in them? Hmm...probably not, since I am kind of a weirdo when it comes to getting new notebooks. It takes a lot for me to even start writing in the first page. I love to savor the blank pages for as long as I can. I always feel like it is such a waste to write notes on the nice, blank papers. That's what computer is for, right? Anyways, these journals are super cute. You can get them on etsy, my favorite place to browse and shop for anything handmade and vintage. They are a bit pricey though, at 46 dollars a piece.

what's the difference between keeping a journal and keeping a blog? aside from tangible differences, i assume they'd serve the same purpose...???

Hmm...I guess for me journal is more private and records a lot of deep emotions and opinions sometimes not shared. Blog serves pretty much the same purpose I guess, but to a lot of people, their blog is more for commercial purposes than personal ones. I think blog also serves as a great medium for updating about certain products or even your life, but journal does more than that.
