Mr.L's dad took us all downtown San Antonio to see the famous Alamo and the River Walk. I was tickled to death when I saw the river walk. So gorgeous (More on that later).
I have heard a lot about the Alamo from Mr. L and his family. It's like one of the things they always forgotten they have told me before. There were a TON of people when we got there. We were not allowed to take pictures inside of the Alamo building. But I guess it wasn't too great inside to take pictures of anyways. There were just a bunch of rocks and rooms made of rocks in there. It was also a very small historical site. The main thing that the Alamo attracts so many people is the history behind the building. There was a battle between the Mexicans and the Texans years ago and the small number of Texans (190) who were trying to protect their freedom were outnumbered by the Mexican soldiers (4000). They managed to hold the Mexicans off for about half a month and were eventually died. It was a really great history. If you want to know more about it, google it.
The River Walk was so OMG amazing!
