Before I get into the details of my life in the first month of 2010, I just want to thank all of you who have come to visit my site. Due to the spam messages I have been receiving, I am changing this blog setting to privacy. Only those who get my invites would be able to access and read my blog from now on. So if you still want to continue with the journey of my life, please either leave your email address at the comment box or shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. So I guess you can say that this is my last post some of you would be able to read.
Mr.L and I have been staying really busy with school. We have 4 classes together, which is awesome because I need extra help with the computer classes. Most of my classes are harder this semester. The classes I am taking are:
Photoshop--This is a pretty easy class for me because I have been playing with and learning photoshop from online tutorials and my husband for about a year now. I use Photoshop for my photography too. I hope I ace this class!
Illustrator--This is a more challenging class for me because I suck at illustrator! There are sooo many things to learn and so many tools that I have never touched before. My professor speaks so fast in class and we have a lot of homework for his class as well. Thankfully, the video tutorials that he asked us to watch were really useful and good.
Flash--The only reason I am taking this class is I am required to. I really dislike using Flash. It is so confusing and I am just not interested in making flash movies!! I just hope I get A in this class because of the hard work I put into it.
Computer Programming--I refused to be geek-i-fied even though I am forced to take this class. I am one of the 4 girls in the class of 30 people. OMG...I can't believe I have to learn the computer language now! It's a high-level language called Python *scoff* Oh...what is worse is I have to make 5 different games using the codes!! Games are made from codes??? I'll definitely show off some of the games I make here just for the fun of it. Seriously, do you see me as a programmer??? I am a literature graduate!
Web and Internet Design--This is by far my favorite class because I learn A LOT in this class and the professor is AWESOME!! The things I learn in this class and the class project is something that I have always wanted to learn. I am going to build a website for my photography business. I am way excited!!
Ok...sorry for all the boring info about my classes, but it's a New Year and I don't have much to share about my life now apart from my school life. Oh... I almost forgot, I have been busy taking pictures of beautiful girls in my neighborhood for free to build up my portfolio. I have about 12 models who are GORGEOUS! I took more than a thousand pictures in just 2 weeks time and I am now trying to choose the best shots and edit them. It's a long process! It's surprisingly hard to choose 10 pictures out of 200 for each of them. But I guess if you are on my Facebook list you must have seen some of the modeling pictures I took of the girls. I am so grateful that they are so willing to help. I will be focusing on children, baby, and family shoot for the next 2 months so I can build up my portfolio in that area. I really miss shooting the nature and landscape pictures. Landscape photography was what made me so into learning the skills of picture taking. It was what motivated me to take all the photography classes and learn all the photography tutorials online. That's why I have a new goal for this year. I am going to try and take a few pictures of the things around me every single day. I might as well put my photography skills in practice and my camera to good use, right? Anywho...wish me luck in the business!!!
Once again, thanks for being my loyal readers. All the best.
