Story #271: Easter

Easter was a ton of fun for me! We had a big family dinner so all of my mother-in-laws family came. We had turkey and lots of candies for dinner. We also had an Easter hunt for the little cousins. It was really fun to see and play with them. It's been a few months since we last had a big gathering like this. My mother-in-law got us Easter baskets filled with little gifts and candies. I love her so much for being so sweet. She always does little sweet things like that for us and I am so thankful to be living with her.

How Easter bunny came about was something I cannot comprehend. I only know that Easter is about Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead. I am so grateful for my Savior at this Easter celebration and I know that He died for the sins of the world. But He lives again and He conquered death. I am ashamed that I was too busy chasing the cousins around and eating turkey to seriously reflected on His sacrifice for me. I know that if I were the only one who sinned, He would have saved me and come for me alone. That's how much He loves me and each and everyone of us on Earth. My Savior rocks!! Please take 2 minutes of your precious time to watch the video below. It is so worth it! And if you feel a "burning in your bosom," I invite you to pray sincerely to ask if Jesus Christ is real and if He truly is the Savior of the world.

I have some photos of Easter to share and I will share it in the next post :)
