I am a very paranoid person. Some things I am paranoid about are:
1. people would steal my car if I don't double lock it.
2. serial killers and robbers. I am VERY careful about locking my house doors. In Malaysia where almost everyone who own a house would put up high and sharp fences around their house and grills on all windows. It drove me crazy when I first got here to see houses with no defense! People can easily pick the doors open!
3. ghosts. I know they exist! I have cousins who can see them and I have lived in a house where people who lived there said they'd seen black shadows with red eyes staring at them while they sleep. So I always check for black figures if I wake up in the middle of the night. One time Mr.L scared me for sneaking past me in the bathroom early in the morning before the sun came up. I screamed because I thought I finally saw the black figure!!
4. sharks. I love to watch shark attack news and videos. I don't know why I like to torture myself like that. When I was in Hawaii I hardly go swimming in the water. One time I went for my scuba diving class in the open water with a bunch of people and the whole time I was in the water I prayed really hard for God to keep the sharks away from me. I was like it can bite my boyfriend but don't let it bite me!!
Recently I have a new paranoia. SIDS. Again, heard way too many stories about it and it worries me. Today I found this cool thing that can give me a good sleep at night.
It's supposed to sound an alarm if your baby doesn't breathe in a given period of time. Yes, baby, now mommy can sleep too.
I am SO thankful for whoever who made this thing cause I can't be worrying about SIDS when I have serial killers, ghosts, and sharks to worry about.
